2 large chicken breasts, cooked and shredded

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 package of puff pastry (2 sheets)

1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Marinara sauce (for serving)

Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    In a mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, ricotta cheese, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

      On a lightly floured surface, roll out one sheet of puff pastry to about ¼ inch thickness. Cut it into squares (approximately 10 cm x 10 cm).

        Place a generous tablespoon of the chicken filling in the center of each square. Ensure to leave space around the edges for sealing.

          Fold the dough over to form triangles, pressing the edges to seal. Crimp the edges with a fork for an added decorative touch.

            Transfer the filled pillows to the prepared baking sheet. Brush the tops with the beaten egg to give them a golden color when baked.

              Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pillows are golden brown and puffed.

                Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.

                  Serve the Chicken Parmesan Pillows with warm marinara sauce on the side and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
