2 cups fresh lemon juice (about 8-10 lemons)

1 cup sugar (or honey to taste)

6 cups water

1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender flowers

2-3 drops lavender essential oil (ensure it's food grade)

1-2 cups fresh raspberries (for color and sweetness)

Ice cubes

Lemon slices and lavender sprigs for garnish

Prepare the Lavender Syrup: In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, sugar (or honey), and dried lavender flowers. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring until the sugar has dissolved.

    Steep: Once the sugar is dissolved, remove the saucepan from heat and let the mixture steep for about 30 minutes to infuse the flavors.

      Strain the Syrup: After steeping, strain the lavender syrup through a fine sieve or cheesecloth into a clean bowl to remove the lavender flowers. Let it cool down to room temperature.

        Mix the Lemonade: In a large pitcher, combine the fresh lemon juice with the remaining 5 cups of water and the cooled lavender syrup. Stir well to mix.

          Add Raspberries: Gently mash the fresh raspberries in a separate bowl (reserve a few for garnish), and then add them to the lemonade mixture for a lovely pink hue and fruity flavor.

            Enhance with Essential Oils: Add 2-3 drops of food-grade lavender essential oil to the lemonade and stir to combine. Taste and adjust the sweetness if desired.

              Chill: Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld together.
