Zutaten
  

4 slices of sourdough bread

100g Brie cheese, sliced

1 cup fresh blackberries

2 tablespoons honey

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

A pinch of salt

Fresh basil leaves for garnish (optional)

Anleitungen
 

In a small bowl, mix the honey with the fresh blackberries. Gently mash the blackberries with a fork to create a chunky blackberry mixture. Set aside.

    Take two slices of sourdough bread and spread softened butter on one side of each slice.

      On the unbuttered side of the bread, layer the Brie cheese evenly.

        Spoon a generous amount of the blackberry mixture over the Brie, allowing some to spill over the edges for extra flavor.

          Top with the other two slices of sourdough, buttered side up, to form a sandwich.

            Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the sandwiches.

              Cook for 3-4 minutes or until the bottom is golden brown and crispy, then carefully flip the sandwich.

                Cook the other side for an additional 3-4 minutes until golden brown and the Brie is melted.

                  Once done, remove the sandwiches from the skillet and let them cool for a minute.

                    Cut the sandwiches in half diagonally and garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
